This digital watercolor was created in 2016, of “Frye’s Leap,” a very large rock outcrop on the northern shore of Sebago Lake, Maine. There were images painted onto the rock out crop that told different Native American stories from the area. The images were repainted annually but stopped around 1925. The ‘images’ and their placement were obtained from old postcards from the early 1900s. In the foreground is a Native American family canoeing past Frye’s Leap.
