This is a photograph I took with one of the first digital cameras in 2003. It won 2nd place in Photography at Mac Design Magazine – Crabby Awards. It’s called “Windwriter” because as I looked around at the dunes, I noticed circles in the sand drawn by the wind and grass blades. Then I noticed a few where it seemed that the grass was almost writing in a hieroglyphic.
